The Irishman Single Malt Incl. Box

The Irishman Single Malt is an Irish single malt with a distinctly personal signature. It is assembled from a small selection of American and Spanish oak casks, over 12 years old, hand-selected by Bernard Walsh himself. That gives the whiskey a more considered feel than a standard bottling: carefully chosen, limited in spirit, and presented with visible attention to detail.
Each bottle is numbered and individually signed, which underlines that sense of personal involvement. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as the kind of Irish whiskey that speaks quietly rather than loudly, relying on its cask selection, malt character and elegant presentation.
The style leans towards floral and fruity notes, with gentle touches of oak and spice in support. Peat is not (…)Arran 2014 11y (Adelphi)

Arran 2014 11y (Adelphi)
On request only
Arran 2014 11 Year Old is a notable return for Arran after years of absence. This unpeated Scotch single malt from the Isle of Arran brings together Oloroso Sherry richness and a fresh island character, giving the whisky depth without moving into a smoky style.
Drawn from a single cask, distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2025 after 11 years of maturation, it represents one very specific cask rather than a broad house-style release. Only 318 bottles were produced, and at 57.6% cask strength it keeps its natural intensity firmly intact. The Oloroso influence gives the whisky its generous, darker-fruited side, while the profile still leaves room for freshness and lift.
For Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottling that adds real character to a specialist (…)Teaninich 2007 18y #30372-1 (Berry Bros - Berry's Exceptional Casks)

Teaninich 2007 18y #30372-1 (Berry Bros - Berry's Exceptional Casks)
On request only
Teaninich is not one of the most obvious Highland names, and that is part of the appeal here. This 18-year-old single malt was distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2025 from a single cask, at natural cask strength. With only 251 bottles released, it feels like a very focused snapshot of one particular cask rather than a broad house style.
The Pineau de Charente finish gives the whisky its fresh, slightly different angle. It brings out apple-like fruit, a floral lift and a gentle wine-rounded touch, while the wood influence stays relatively measured. The result is more about brightness and detail than weight.
Berry Bros has a long tradition in wine and whisky, dating back to 1698, and that background makes sense in a bottling like this: a Scottish single malt (…)Tomatin 1997 23y (The Nectar - Daily Dram)

Tomatin 1997 23y (The Nectar - Daily Dram)

Tomatin 1997 23y is a Highland single malt with a very precise identity. It was distilled in April 1997 and bottled in August 2020 after 23 years of maturation, then released by independent bottler The Nectar as part of the Daily Dram series.
Rather than a broad distillery expression, this is the story of one bourbon barrel. It was bottled as a single cask at natural cask strength, 52.7%, with only 193 bottles drawn from that cask. With the last bottles indicated, it has the feel of a release that captures one particular maturation rather than a repeated recipe.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Tomatin we would present to someone interested in independent Highland whisky with age and individuality. The supplied flavour profile points towards (…)Speyside 25y (The Single Malts Of Scotland - Single Malts Of Scotland Marriage)

Speyside 25y from The Single Malts of Scotland is a Scottish single malt with an undisclosed distillery behind it. That anonymity gives the whisky a different kind of appeal: instead of leaning on a famous name, it draws attention to its age, Speyside origin and the choices made by the bottler.
Distilled in 1996 and bottled at 52.6% cask strength, it is presented with its natural intensity intact. As part of The Single Malts of Scotland Marriage range, the emphasis sits on a fruit-led and floral style, with lighter wood and spice tones adding structure rather than taking over.
With 780 bottles released and only the last bottles remaining, this 25-year-old Speyside has a clearly limited nature. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we value bottlings like this because (…)Bushmills 14y Incl. Box

Bushmills 14y Incl. Box

Bushmills 14y is an Irish single malt whiskey where the age statement and the cask finish do most of the talking. Fourteen years gives it a sense of maturity, while the Malaga Finish adds a distinctive angle within the Bushmills range.
The style is not built around smoke or heavy oak. The supplied flavour profile points towards fruit and floral notes as the main accents, with wood and spice playing a lighter supporting role. That gives the whiskey a more refined direction, focused on nuance rather than force.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Bushmills we like to introduce to customers who already enjoy Irish single malt but want something with an extra layer of interest. The combination of age, single malt character and Malaga finishing makes it (…)Starward Tawny Cask

Starward Tawny Cask

Starward Tawny Cask is an Australian single malt with a character that leans toward fruit and floral expression rather than peat or coastal salinity. The Tawny Cask name is central to the identity of the whisky, and at 50% alcohol it carries a firm presence without needing an age statement to define it.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we place this among the bottles that show how varied modern single malt whisky can be beyond the traditional regions. Its appeal lies in style and cask character rather than a stated age, with light wood and spice supporting the more pronounced fruit-driven and floral side.
As these are the last bottles in this selection, it is not a whisky that will remain available indefinitely. More information about Starward can be found at (…)Platte Valley Straight Corn

Platte Valley Straight Corn is an American whiskey with a clear grain-led identity, and the name already tells you where the emphasis lies: corn. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would point to when someone wants to explore American whiskey from a slightly different angle, away from heavy smoke or an overly oak-driven style.
American Oak gives it a gentle wood influence, while the supplied flavour profile points more strongly toward fruity and floral notes. A light touch of spice sits in the background, adding shape without dominating the whiskey.
Bottled at 40% alcohol and presented without an age statement, Platte Valley Straight Corn keeps the focus on style and origin rather than age. It is straightforward, American, grain-focused, (…)Holyrood Noir Premier Cru

Holyrood Noir Premier Cru is a Lowland Scotch single malt with a clear wine-cask accent. The word Noir feels well chosen here, because the whisky moves into darker territory: black plum, cherry and chocolate give it depth rather than simple sweetness.
The Chardonnay Finish adds a soft vinous layer while leaving the single malt character intact. It comes across as full and velvety, with fruit, gentle spice and a restrained touch of wood supporting the richer notes.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would point out to someone looking for a Lowland malt with extra roundness and darker flavour. It is not peated or salty in style; the focus is on fruit, chocolate and elegant wine accents.

Tormore Timeless sits at the foundation of Tormore's new core range and presents the distillery's Speyside style in a clear, inviting way: fruit-led, elegant and gently aromatic.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a fine introduction to Tormore for anyone who enjoys a Speyside single malt with freshness, fruit and a graceful finish rather than heavy oak or smoke.

What gives this release its particular shape is the double maturation. Since 2024, the whisky has rested in a combination of bourbon casks and Oloroso casks, with 60% bourbon and 40% Oloroso in the mix. The bourbon side brings vanilla sweetness, while the Oloroso casks add a richer fruit-driven layer.

Glencadam 2015 11y Single Cask The Nectar was selected to celebrate the 20th anniversary of The Nectar. Rather than choosing a whisky built around sheer intensity, this release reflects a more refined idea: authenticity, elegance and the pleasure of discovering a well-chosen cask.
Drawn from a single bourbon barrel and bottled at 46% after 11 years, it represents one very specific selection rather than a broad vatting. Only 318 bottles were filled. Lochlea Orchard & Oak is a Lowland single malt from Scotland with a clear focus on orchard freshness and gentle oak influence. The name captures the style well: bright fruit, a touch of sweetness and a measured spicy edge from the wood.
The whisky was developed from Lochlea's seasonal Sowing edition and brings together three cask influences. First-fill Bourbon casks contribute vanilla sweetness, new American oak adds spice, and Calvados casks bring a distinct apple signature. Rather than feeling heavy, the whisky keeps its sense of lift, with fruit and oak working closely together.

At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of Scottish single malt we would point out to someone looking for a whisky with a clear red wine cask influence, but still with a rounded, composed character. It has a generous feel, yet the fruit and floral side keep it lively.

Kavalan Lan gives a clear sense of why Taiwan has become a meaningful name in whisky since 2006. Kavalan was born as Taiwan's first distillery, driven by King Car whisky, and its name pays tribute to an ancient local tribe known for its agricultural culture.
Lan refers to the Chinese character for orchid, a nod to Taiwan as the Kingdom of Orchids. That idea fits closely with Kavalan's stated style: fruity, floral, fresh and gently spiced. The whisky is made with unpeated malt imported from Scotland, allowing that softer aromatic side to come through without peat shaping the profile.
For this special edition, maturation took place in a combination of bourbon and port casks. The port casks were treated with the STR technique, Shave, Toast and Rechar, to (…)Kavalan Distillery Select N°2 Incl. Box
