Bowmore 2015 11y Cadnec (Cadenhead's Single Cask) *PRESALE*
Pre-order
Bowmore 2015 11y Cadnec is a young, powerful Islay single malt with a distinctly tropical streak. It was bottled for the 20th anniversary of The Nectar and comes from Cadenhead's Chairman's Stock series, from Scotland's oldest independent bottler.
Its appeal lies in how focused the release is. This is whisky from one Bourbon Barrel, matured for 11 years and bottled as a single cask at its natural cask strength of 58.3%. It was released without chill filtration or added colouring, keeping the whisky close to the individual cask it came from.
With only 252 bottles produced, this limited Cadenhead's Single Cask bottling is exactly the kind of release that adds character to the selection at Drankenshop Broekmans. It shows Bowmore through one specific barrel (…)Port Askaig 2016 10y Single Cask *PRESALE*

Port Askaig 2016 10y Single Cask *PRESALE*
Pre-order
Port Askaig 2016 10y Single Cask is an Islay whisky that keeps part of its identity deliberately veiled. The origin is hinted at rather than named: not far from the pier, where the ferries reach the island before moving on towards Jura. That quiet mystery suits the Port Askaig style well.
Distilled in 2016 and bottled after 10 years, this single cask was released at cask strength, 53.7% ABV. The Pedro Ximénez cask brings a rounder, creamier side to the smoky island character, adding fruit-driven softness while leaving the peat clearly present. It is not a broad vatting, but a focused snapshot from one individual cask.
Only 317 bottles were filled for this release, created for 20 years of The Nectar. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see its appeal in the (…)Saburomaro IV The Emperor Incl. Box *PRESALE*

Saburomaro IV The Emperor Incl. Box *PRESALE*
Pre-order
Saburomaro IV The Emperor comes from Saburomaru's Tarot series, a range in which the Toyama distillery explores different expressions of peat between Japan and Scotland. As the fourth card in the series, The Emperor focuses on a Highland-peated style: earthier and fruitier than the major Islay malts, while retaining the Japanese grain sweetness described as part of Saburomaru's signature.
Distilled in 2020 and bottled in 2024, this Japanese single malt is presented at 48%, without chill filtration and without added colouring. It feels like a distillery-driven whisky in the most straightforward sense: the peat, fruit, grain sweetness and wood influence are allowed to show without being polished into something anonymous.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the (…)Saburomaro Sab Night Black Incl. Box *PRESALE*

Saburomaro Sab Night Black Incl. Box *PRESALE*
Pre-order
Saburomaro Sab Night Black comes from the world of Saburomaru, a Japanese distillery founded in 1952 in Toyama Prefecture, set between the Japanese Alps and the Sea of Japan. In recent years, Saburomaru has built its name around a style that remains uncommon in Japan: peated whisky.
SAB. Night Black is the smoky, straightforward introduction to that house signature. It brings together Japanese malt and British grain, bottled without chill filtration and without added colouring. The result is presented with a clear intention: intense, direct and openly peated.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a Japanese whisky for drinkers who want the peat to speak plainly rather than remain in the background. At 46% ABV, it has enough structure to carry its darker (…)Saburomaro Sab Sunste Red Incl. Box *PRESALE*

Saburomaro Sab Sunste Red Incl. Box *PRESALE*
Pre-order
Saburomaro Sab Sunste Red gives a clear impression of what makes Saburomaru distinctive: Japanese whisky with peat running through it, yet without letting smoke take over the whole glass. The distillery was founded in 1952 in Toyama Prefecture, set between the Japanese Alps and the Sea of Japan, and has built its identity around peated whisky, a style described here as rare in Japan.
The blend brings together Japanese malt and British grain, shaping an approachable whisky with a fruity, gently smoky personality. Its sunny character is part of the appeal: the peat is present, but polished and well woven into the drink rather than forceful. It is bottled without chill filtration and without added colouring.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle (…)Saburomaro V The Hierophant Incl. Box *PRESALE*

Saburomaro V The Hierophant Incl. Box *PRESALE*
Pre-order
Saburomaro V The Hierophant is the fifth card in Saburomaru's Tarot series, and the most powerful release in the range when it comes to strength. Bottled at 60% cask strength, without chill filtration and without added colouring, it keeps the whisky in a very direct form.
The style is built around Islay malt for its peat smoke, with an ale-type yeast used to add aromatic complexity. Distilled in 2021 and bottled in 2024, The Hierophant shows a young, intense and uncompromising side of Saburomaru, marked by cask strength weight, peat-driven energy and a clearly recognisable Japanese character.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a bottle for drinkers who want the Tarot series at full intensity. It is not a gentle introduction, but a Japanese single malt (…)Saburomaro VI The Lovers Incl. Box *PRESALE*

Saburomaro VI The Lovers Incl. Box *PRESALE*
Pre-order
Saburomaro VI The Lovers is the sixth release in Saburomaru's Tarot series, and its concept is one of the most engaging in the range. It brings together two peat styles: a Highland style distilled in 2020 and an Islay style distilled in 2021. Rather than presenting peat as a single broad brushstroke, it explores the contrast between maritime intensity and a rounder continental impression.
Bottled in 2025 at 48%, without chill filtration and without added colouring, this Japanese single malt keeps close to the character of its composition. The smoke is clearly important, yet the whisky is built around precision as much as force. That is where the Toyama distillery's aromatic approach gives the release its particular identity.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, The (…)Saburomaro VII The Chariot Incl. Box *PRESALE*

Saburomaro VII The Chariot Incl. Box *PRESALE*
Pre-order
Saburomaro VII The Chariot is the seventh card in Saburomaru's Tarot series, and it is described as the most heavily peated whisky from the Toyama distillery. This Japanese single malt was distilled in 2021 and bottled in 2025 at 48%, without chill filtration and without added colouring.
The defining element is its 80 ppm peat level. For context, major Islay malts are generally placed around 40 to 55 ppm, so The Chariot pushes the peat intensity even further. Yet the description does not present it as a copy of a Scottish style. Its identity is marked by a dry, mineral Japanese signature, giving the smoke an earthy, atmospheric depth.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of release we would introduce to someone looking for peat at the centre of the (…)Tormore 2015 11y Single Cask For The Nectar *PRESALE*

Tormore 2015 11y Single Cask For The Nectar *PRESALE*
Pre-order
Tormore is one of those Speyside names that still feels relatively discreet, and that makes this single cask all the more engaging. Distilled in 2015 and matured for 11 years, it was bottled especially for Belgium and Luxembourg to mark The Nectar's 20th anniversary.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottlings like this stand out because they show one cask without dilution into a broader batch. Cask number 1294042 yielded just 241 bottles, filled at its natural cask strength of 55.3%, without chill filtration or added colouring.
Maturation in a refill bourbon barrel keeps the focus on Tormore's fruit-driven, gourmand side. It is a Speyside malt with freshness, sweetness and power in the same glass, while still feeling very much like a specific snapshot from a single (…)
Frequently asked questions
Answers to the most frequently asked questions on pre-sales
What is a pre-sale or presale?
A pre-sale or presale is putting on sale a product that we have not yet physically received. Often these are bottlings that are long-awaited, have a very limited print run or for which we can/may only pass on a quantity to our supplier once.
Is a presale delivered immediately?
No, products in pre-sale are not delivered immediately according to the general "ordered before 10am, shipped the same" principle we apply. The reason is simply that we have not yet received the bottles in our warehouse.
We try to communicate a probable delivery date for each product in pre-sale as correctly and as honestly as possible, and in the checkout you will only be able to choose dates after this probable date. Whether we can eventually meet that date depends on our suppliers and may in practice be later if the products cannot be delivered to us on time.
If we fail to meet a delivery date for a pre-sale, you will be notified by us by email. If a new date has been communicated by our supplier at that time, we will also share it with you in that e-mail message.
