Speyside 2008 16y (Cadenhead's Enigma Series)
Only 2 left in stock!
Speyside 2008 16y sits in Cadenhead's Enigma Series, a range built around whiskies that refuse to be neatly categorised. The distillery name remains undisclosed, and in this case that mystery feels like part of the appeal: the focus is entirely on the whisky in the glass.
This 16-year-old Speyside single malt was finished in a cask that previously held Pineau de Charente. That finishing detail gives the whisky an unusual direction, supporting its strongly fruity profile while leaving room for spice and some striking savoury touches. Bottled at 51.9%, it has enough weight to carry its more distinctive notes, from menthol and rye bread to dark berries and Black Forest cake.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottlings like this are selected for customers who enjoy (…)Glenallachie 2014 10y (Cadenhead - Original Collection)

Glenallachie 2014 10y (Cadenhead - Original Collection)
On request only
Glenallachie 2014 10y is a Speyside single malt bottled by Cadenhead as part of the Original Collection. That series brings together a broad range of whiskies selected for character and drinkability, and this Glenallachie leans strongly into the fruit-driven side associated with the distillery.
It spent 10 years in ex-bourbon casks. For the Original Collection, Cadenhead brings selected casks together at 50% ABV and lets them rest so the flavours can settle into one another, before bottling at 46%. That approach gives this whisky a composed feel without taking away its flavour intensity.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this bottle as a fine example of Glenallachie's fruity Speyside style with added layers of nuts, ginger and cinnamon from the bourbon cask (…)Bushmills 1992 28y Cognac

Bushmills 1992 28y Cognac

Bushmills 1992 28y Cognac is an Irish single malt whiskey centred on long maturation and cognac cask influence. Distilled on 9 April 1992 and bottled on 10 April 2020, it captures a very specific chapter from a single cask after 28 years of ageing.
Only 500 bottles were released, bottled at cask strength at 46.7%. At Drankenshop Broekmans, releases like this stand out because they combine age, single cask individuality and increasing scarcity, especially now that this is listed among the last bottles and recognised as a collector's item.
Its flavour profile points towards a fruit-led whiskey, with clear floral and spicy accents alongside a lighter touch of wood. The cognac maturation gives the release its defining frame, while the single cask nature keeps the (…)Glenglassaugh 15y Incl. Box

Glenglassaugh 15 Year Old sits at a meaningful point in the distillery's modern story. Founded in 1875 on the Moray Firth coast, Glenglassaugh remained silent for more than two decades before being revived in 2008. This 15-year-old release shows a more mature and layered side of that renewed identity.
Maturation in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks and Spanish wine casks gives the whisky its darker, generous tones of chocolate, caramel and dried fruit. What keeps it especially interesting is the coastal thread running underneath: a discreet iodine note and gentle saltiness that bring definition to the richness. At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of single malt we enjoy presenting to customers who want depth and cask influence without peat smoke.

Deanston 2012 13y Awwif (Alistair Walker - Infrequent Flyers) Tube Incl.

Deanston 2012 13y Awwif shows a dark, generous side of Highland single malt. Bottled by Alistair Walker for the Infrequent Flyers series, it comes from a single cask and is presented at cask strength, with an ABV of 57.9%.
The defining element here is the five-year finish in a Pedro Ximenez puncheon. That extended finish gives the whisky its deep fruit richness, velvety texture and warming spice. Rather than feeling light or delicate, it sits firmly in a full, concentrated style with a strong PX influence.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottle we would point out to someone looking for a Highland malt with real weight, dark fruit and a carefully handled sweet-spiced edge. With only the last bottles remaining, it also has the appeal of a release (…)Akkeshi Kanro

Akkeshi Kanro
On request only
Akkeshi Kanro is a Japanese single malt with a clear sense of presence. Bottled at 55%, it sits on the more powerful side of the spectrum, giving the whisky a firm and serious character without needing an overload of technical detail.
The release is limited to 15,000 bottles, and the available stock is now down to the last bottles. As it is also marked as a collector's item, Kanro has a distinctive place in the Japanese whisky selection at Drankenshop Broekmans, especially for customers who follow these limited releases with attention.
Its flavour profile points toward spice and fruit as the central elements, supported by lighter floral, salty and peated touches. Wood is not the main driver here, so the interest lies more in the interplay between fruit, spice (…)
