Chateau Lafon Rochet 2016
On request only
Château Lafon-Rochet 2016 is a red Bordeaux from Saint-Estèphe, produced by a historic estate classified as a Fourth Growth in the 1855 classification. It is the château's Grand Vin, built around Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot completing the blend.
The fruit comes from vineyards on deep gravel and gravel over clay, harvested by hand from late September into October. Fermentation took place in concrete and stainless-steel vats, followed by at least twelve months in barrique. The result stays close to the Saint-Estèphe identity: structured, firm and ageworthy, yet with a refined feel to the tannins.

La Chapelle de Lafon Rochet 2019 is the second cuvée of Château Lafon-Rochet, a historic Saint-Estèphe estate classified as a Fourth Growth in 1855. It carries the setting of a serious Médoc property, yet presents it in a more approachable form than the château's grand vin.
For the 2019 vintage, the blend is 57% Merlot and 43% Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes were hand-harvested, vinified in stainless steel and concrete vats, then matured for 12 months in French oak barriques. That combination gives the wine a clear Saint-Estèphe frame: depth and structure, with enough suppleness to keep the expression polished rather than severe.

Les Pelerins De Lafon Rochet 2019 is the second wine of Château Lafon-Rochet in Saint-Estèphe, Médoc. It comes from the same estate background as the château's Grand Vin, but with a more approachable expression: a red Bordeaux that shows its origin clearly without being built for decades of waiting.
The 2019 vintage is a blend of 57% merlot and 43% cabernet sauvignon. The grapes come from the château's vineyards on deep gravel and gravel-over-clay soils, with vines averaging around 30 years of age. After hand harvesting, the wine was fermented in concrete and stainless-steel vats, followed by 12 months in barrels. The style stays firmly in classic Saint-Estèphe territory: ripe fruit, freshness, structure and a mineral edge, rather than (…)
