Starward Single Cask #14384 The Nectar Incl. Box
In stock
Starward Single Cask #14384 The Nectar is an Australian single malt with a very direct sense of place and cask. Drawn from one individual cask and bottled at cask strength, it carries its 54.8% ABV with the kind of presence you expect from a whisky left close to its natural form. Only 286 bottles came from this cask, and with the last bottles now remaining, it feels like a tightly defined snapshot rather than a broad, polished release.
Distilled in December 2017 and bottled in August 2022, this 4-year-old whisky was wine matured. That gives the release its setting, but the real point of interest is cask #14384 itself. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we like bottlings like this because they show a more specific side of a producer: less about a standard house expression, more about (…)Amrut 2022 4y Peated

Amrut 2022 4y Peated
Last one in stock!
Amrut 2022 4y Peated presents a markedly different interpretation of Amrut Single Malt. Distilled in 2022 from peated barley imported from Scotland, at around 30 ppm, it matured in a bourbon barrel under the tropical climate of Bangalore.
That setting gives the whisky a striking sense of concentration. The age statement is young, yet the profile is far from simple: ripe fruit, medicinal notes, ash, mineral touches and a floral edge all sit around the peat as it gradually becomes more smoky and savoury.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of bottling we would point out to drinkers who appreciate strength with definition. It is a single cask release, bottled at cask strength at 60%, so the whisky speaks with real force while still keeping its (…)Bowmore 12y Sherry Incl. Box

Bowmore 12y Sherry Incl. Box

Bowmore 12y Sherry brings Bowmore's Islay character together with a clear sherry influence. As the 12-year-old entry point in the Sherry Oak range, it introduces the distillery in an approachable way while keeping its island identity firmly in view.
Maturation in bourbon and oloroso sherry casks, followed by an additional sherry cask finish, gives this single malt its interplay of fruit, spice and gentle smoke. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see it as a natural choice for anyone looking to explore Bowmore through a richer, sherry-touched style without moving away from the distillery's recognisable character.
It is a whisky built around warmth, ripe fruit, spice and a gradually developing smoky edge.

Wolfburn Let It Snow
On request only
Wolfburn Let It Snow is a Highland single malt from Scotland with a name that naturally brings a winter mood to mind. With no age statement, the focus is less on a number and more on the style in the glass: a 46% whisky with enough strength to carry its fruity and spicy side clearly.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this Wolfburn stands out for the way its main flavours are supported by gentler accents. Fruit and spice are the most prominent elements, while wood, floral notes, a light salty edge and a subtle touch of peat stay in the background. It gives the whisky a layered feel without pushing it into a heavy style.
As these are the last bottles, Let It Snow has become one of those releases that will not remain part of the selection indefinitely. More information (…)Ben Nevis 10y Incl. Box

Ben Nevis 10y is a Highland single malt with a character that resists simple description. Produced at the Ben Nevis distillery near Fort William, it is presented as dry, robust and full-bodied, with a style that does not feel polished into anonymity.
There is also an interesting story behind this 10-year-old release. It is a small-batch bottling mainly intended for the Japanese market, and the distillery itself is owned by Nikka. As one of the few official bottlings from Ben Nevis, it has a particular place at Drankenshop Broekmans for drinkers who enjoy discovering a more individual Highland malt.
Bottled at 46%, it has enough strength to carry its firm, malt-driven personality. Oak cask maturation frames the whisky, while the tasting character moves through (…)Highland Park 1992 24y Dd (The Nectar Of The Daily Drams)

Highland Park 1992 24y Dd (The Nectar Of The Daily Drams)
Very last one in stock!
Highland Park 1992 24y DD is a Scottish single malt from Orkney, bottled by The Nectar as part of The Nectar of the Daily Drams series. Distilled in 1992 and bottled in 2016, it spent 24 years maturing before being released as an independent bottling.
Its appeal lies in the specificity of the release. This is a single cask whisky from a hogshead, bottled at cask strength at 50%. Rather than a broad house-style expression, it presents one particular cask and one particular stage of maturation.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, bottlings like this are valued for precisely that sense of individuality. The combination of mature age, single cask origin, collectors item status and last available bottles gives this release a noticeably limited character.

Yoichi 10 Years New brings an important part of Japanese whisky history into the glass. This single malt comes from Yoichi, Nikka's first distillery, founded in 1934 on the island of Hokkaido. That setting matters: Hokkaido's climate is described as reminiscent of Scotland, giving this ten-year-old Yoichi a distinctive place among Japanese single malts.
The new version is marked by freshness and a fiery edge. Fruit and spice shape the main impression, while a discreet touch of peat adds depth without taking over. At 10 years old and 45%, it feels lively, developed and direct rather than overly polished.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, we see this as a Japanese single malt with a clear identity: rooted in Nikka's first distillery, shaped by Hokkaido, and built (…)Bowmore 19y Pinot Noir Finish Incl. Box

Bowmore 19y Pinot Noir Finish Incl. Box

Bowmore 19y Pinot Noir Finish takes Islay single malt into a clearly wine-influenced direction. It is an official Bowmore release from the Appellations Collection, a travel-retail series built around cask finishes linked to wine regions. In this case, the whisky first matures in American oak ex-bourbon casks before being finished in selected Pinot Noir casks from Burgundy.
That finishing choice gives the whisky a distinctive tension: Bowmore's coastal Islay identity and gentle peat smoke remain part of the picture, while the Pinot Noir influence brings fruit, spice and a lightly drying structure. The tasting information points to apple, citrus, honey, red plum, peach, ginger, black pepper and soft smoke rather than an aggressively peated style.

Bowmore 30y 2021
Very last one in stock!
Bowmore 30y 2021 is an official distillery bottling from Bowmore on Islay, released as a limited 30-year-old annual expression. Distilled in 1989 and bottled in 2020 for the 2021 release, it comes at 45.1% cask strength.
The whisky spent three decades maturing in a combination of sherry hogsheads and bourbon barrels, rather than receiving a separate finish. With a reported outturn of 2,976 bottles, it is the kind of older Islay release that naturally stands apart. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we would place it among the more contemplative bottles: one to pour slowly and follow as it opens in the glass.
Its interest lies in the way mature fruit, honeyed sweetness and warm peat smoke sit together. The Islay identity is present, yet the smoke does not dominate; (…)Ardnamurchan 10y 2025

Ardnamurchan 10y 2025
On request only
Ardnamurchan 10y 2025 is a Highland single malt that keeps the distillery character firmly in view. The AD/10 Years Old 2025 Release sits alongside the Heritage Barley Release, but it brings its own point of interest: it is Ardnamurchan's first batch release to include 10-year-old peated whisky.
The composition is what gives this whisky its particular shape. Almost half of the recipe brings together peated and unpeated whiskies, so the smoke is part of the structure rather than a separate layer sitting on top. Maturation is mainly in ex-bourbon casks, with a small amount of ex-sherry cask influence in the mix. That combination supports a style where fruit, soft smoke, gentle spice and a slightly richer undertone can all find their place.

Springbank Local Barley 10y is built around a very clear idea: a Campbeltown single malt made entirely from locally grown barley. That gives the whisky a strong sense of place, with the grain itself playing a central role in the character of the release.
Matured in bourbon and sherry casks, this 10-year-old Springbank keeps its natural identity at the forefront. It is bottled at 55.2% ABV, non-chill filtered and without added colouring, so the whisky comes across in a direct, unpolished and craft-driven way.

Bowmore 2003 17y is an Islay single malt with a very clearly defined origin: distilled on 12 December 2003, bottled on 29 July 2021, and drawn from a single bourbon barrel. Rather than presenting a broad house-style blend, it captures one individual cask at one particular point in its maturation.
At 17 years old and bottled at cask strength, 54.9%, it keeps close to the character of that barrel. Only 209 bottles were released, and with the last bottles now in view, its small-scale nature becomes part of the appeal. The recipe brings together Clynelish, bought immediately after distillation and then matured in casks selected by Compass Box, with two malts from Ardnamurchan. That gives this limited Compass Box release more than just an age statement; it tells a story of selection, origin and maturation.

Mars Yakushima Japanese Spring is a Japanese single malt with a distinctly tropical voice. Rather than relying on an age statement, it draws attention through atmosphere and flavour: ripe fruit, a saline edge and a fine touch of wood give it a very particular presence in the glass.
The bourbon cask maturation supports sweet malt and vanilla tones, while leaving plenty of space for the fruit to speak. What makes this Mars Maltage stand out is the way exotic fruit meets iodine-like, almost coastal notes. Its appeal lies in how focused the release is. This is whisky from one Bourbon Barrel, matured for 11 years and bottled as a single cask at its natural cask strength of 58.3%. It was released without chill filtration or added colouring, keeping the whisky close to the individual cask it came from.
With only 252 bottles produced, this limited Cadenhead's Single Cask bottling is exactly the kind of release that adds character to the selection at Drankenshop Broekmans. It shows Bowmore through one specific barrel (…)The Epicurean Peated Ed. (Douglas Laing Regional Malts)

The Epicurean Peated Edition adds a smoky angle to the classic Lowland style associated with The Epicurean. It keeps that sense of elegance, but introduces a subtle layer of peat smoke that gives the blended malt a more distinctive and slightly earthier personality.
Released by Douglas Laing as part of the Regional Malts range, this small batch is limited to around 1,800 bottles. At Drankenshop Broekmans, we find this kind of bottling particularly engaging because it shows how a familiar whisky style can gain depth from peat without letting smoke take over completely.
Bottled at natural cask strength of 50.5%, without colouring and without chill filtration, it stays close to its original form. The result is a more characterful take on The Epicurean, with (…)Douglas Laing Double Barrel Scotland India

Douglas Laing Double Barrel Scotland India is a Blended Malt built around a striking meeting of origins: an Indian Single Malt joined with a Scottish Single Malt from the Highlands. The appeal here lies in the way time has softened the wild peat of Skye without silencing it. The island signature remains, but it has gained depth and maturity, moving from raw coastal energy towards something more layered and contemplative.
At Drankenshop Broekmans, this is the kind of whisky we see as a very precise snapshot: one single cask, only 300 bottles, and a remarkable age statement for Talisker.
